Saw this on Instagram, and it said that this is going to be a new IT doll!
It is unknown how or when this doll will be available yet. We don't know if it's gonna be IT Direct, SDCC exclusive (may break the consecutive annual Jem streak), W Club exclusive...
What are your thoughts?

I love the outfit, but to me, the doll doesn't look like Kimber and the hair looks the wrong colour . . just my humble opinion!

 it's definitely more orange according to the Shout Factory dvd's but since you mentioned it, I actually did notice that Kimber and Pizzazz's hair looks fluorescent in these pictures so I wonder if it's just the lightning/editing or something. Kimber's second head also looks like her hair is the color of a watermelon jolly rancher??? lol which is weird since that's not what the original IT Kimber's hair color was. |

It's supposed to be a homage to her second-year version in the original series, some of which did have lighter, almost pinkish-red hair. That's also why she has lighter makeup this time around. As for Evil Kimber with coral hair rather than bright red: yes, in the series itself she does have more orangey hair, not to mention that it looks very similar to Year 1 Clash's coral hair (and Clash shares facial features with Kimber, so it's a nice little connection between them). |

Okay thanks for explaining! At least now we know there is a reason for the changes!
Also I really like the lighter makeup. I think the lighter eyebrows looks a lot better than the darker ones on the first IT Kimber.

Yeah "bad" Kimber is the one I am looking forward to the most.
I think the other dolls are nice but I don't personally like the outfits chosen for them.
Now that I'm thinking of it, I wish they would have given Kimber her pink outfit with the zebra print blazer instead of The Bands Breakup fashion. I feel like that's her second most memorable fashion on the show besides her original one, but I guess they want to focus on fashions that weren't already made for the original dolls.

Permanent Wave! I've got that original fashion but I need the shoes. I got it last JemCon along with Music is Magic (both sets missing the shoes)

Oh yeah! I like that fashion as well. My only thought is maybe they felt it was going to be too much with another pink outfit in the line and the yellow Bands Break Up fashion was something different. Just thinking out loud here.  I do like the Permanent Wave fashion, though! |

yeah that's true. It's good to have more variety, but I hope they make separate fashions eventually bc I would like to get the permanent wave fashion for this Kimber since I like her head more than the original one.
