This may be more for completists than anything, but for those who are interested, a complete-series DVD set has been announced for Maxie's World, which some consider a sequel series to Jem: www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Maxies-World-The-Complete-Series/21500(Now all we need is NKOTB: The Animated Series and we'll have the whole "trilogy"!)

Hey that's really awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I don't even remember this cartoon, but it seems like a must have to go with the Jem dvds. I just looked it up on YouTube, and the intro is well animated.

Though I have to admit I still think Jem is the best of the "trilogy", I am happy about getting this series too. As far as I know, only three episodes have ever shown up on YouTube, and they weren't in the best of picture quality. I preordered my copy just after initially posting this thread. Maybe I might have to track down Beverly Hills Teens and/or Punky Brewster to go with it (all three were featured together in the initial run).

I love Maxie's World, cannot wait for it to come to DVD It's one of those interesting "California life in the 80s" animated series about trendy girls going to high school. Gotta love the beaches, the city, and the summer weather!! TBH I would really love to live in California or the flashy part of New York... ...but Miami is another fun place that I am interested in.

This was released yesterday. Anybody pick it up yet? Is it available in stores, or online only?

I ordered it from Amazon, and it arrived today, though I may not have a chance to watch it until the weekend.
