Yeah he came and went! Apparently only 200 of each blonde and black haired versions were made. They should have included both heads to be switchable. I wonder how other fans feel about the way Zipper was handled.

just saw him on ebay and was thinking the same thing about the heads. not sure why they didn't just make him a quickswitch doll. I like both of the hair colors though. I don't plan on getting him but if I did I wouldn't know which one I would want.
I'm kind of shocked he sold out. I didn't really think he was a popular character, but maybe some people just bought him bc they liked the way he looked and not necessarily bc they are Jem fans.
also is this counting as 2 separate dolls? and is Graphix counting since she was announced before integrity said they had 4 more dolls left in the series?

Not two separate dolls IINM, but were there 400 Zippers total? Yeah the idea of him being a QuickSwitch would have been great... who would want three variants of Clash with each different head? (gotta be careful with heads!!)

That's the impression I get. That there were 200 of each the blond and of the black haired one totalling 400 Zippers.
I think with him being less "Jem-like", without the overly wild '80s style and colors, there were probably a lot of fashion doll collectors that wanted him for his unique and new headsculpt and also the very versatile fashion he comes with. In hindsight, it really shouldn't be as much of a surprise that he sold out like he did, especially given the limited number produced.
Yeah I agree about Clash. Having to buy 3 of the same doll just for each different head would be a real pain! Let us hope they don't try to do that with any of the remaining releases!

I was lucky and picked up the black haired version. I totally agree he should have been a quick switch with two heads. I think Integrity is trying to squeeze what they can out of the remainder of the line. $$ I can't justify paying double, as cool as it would be to display one in his jacket and the other in the hoodie.
I was surprised to see him sell out so quickly though especially being Eric and TechRat didn't right away. I think Eric is still available direct.

nice! glad you were able to get him.
what are the rules for the W club regarding how many you can purchase of each doll? Can you only get one of each or do people buy a bunch of them with the intent to resell

You may buy one doll per membership. If you have multiple memberships, you can buy one for each membership. With Zipper, they allowed members to buy one of each color hair per membership so you could buy both dolls
