So if we ever got a new Jem and the Holograms cartoon, you know a reboot.
What changes would you make, or at least approve? Think about some recent reboots, the one that comes to mind is Voltron: Legendary Defender. They made some changes to in the words of the writers "the Voltron you remember watching", some of the changes they changed some of the Paladin's Lions, and they changed of one of the characters, I won't say which one for spoiler reasons, and it is a hit. Another example is the new Powerpuff Girls, I think it a very witty well written show, but everyone hates it because it is not like the old show. So sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.
So when it comes to Jem, I would like to have more story driving stuff, and not so many self contained episodes, have the status quo change a little bit, perhaps little by little a character here and a character there learn Jem's true identity. And in particular this is more of a story line I came out, I would love it is Stormer secretly found out Jem's true identity but only she knows that she knows. I love the knowledge of a secret being onto its storyline.
Also not have Jem and the Holograms all the time, have episodes like "The Music Awards" and "Hollywood Jem", when Jem loses. It makes the other bands look more like a legit threat, and it is more realistic, and the good guys suffer setbacks so they can learn from it and become better next time, is good story telling.
