Jem and the Holograms Outrageous Edition hardcover by IDW

You and me both. I was going through my box to see which issue I left off on. It was issue 9. So I forgot that I haven't even finished the second story arc! And now the Dark Jem arc is about to wrap up.

The Stingers and Raya are going to be appearing in the comic this fall - and Raya is going to be introduced as a Stinger!

Unfortunately, Jem won't be participating in "Revolution", the GI Joe/Transformers/Rom/MASK/Action Man crossover - the writers had considered including her, but couldn't figure out a way to do so.

Well, this might be a good time to add to the chorus of "I should start reading these, shouldn't I?"

Um, in a weird way, it makes sense for them to have Raya, considering how each band's started out with (and so far kept) four members.  Also remember "wicked sister" Raya from the Beauty and the Beast show -- Raya is a really good actress (something which would no doubt get far more play in the Stingers than with J&tH).

Anyway, it's an interesting twist on the old canon.  Hopefully the story will measure up!
